VIII JUEGOS DEPORTIVOS SUDAMERICANOS – BUENOS AIRES 2006
A UN MES DEL COMIENZO, YA SE VIVEN LOS ODESUR
Falta apenas un mes para que los VIII Juegos Deportivos Sudamericanos (ODESUR) se pongan en marcha.
El 9 de noviembre será el comienzo de las competencias, con las pruebas de equitación, hockey sobre césped, judo y handball.
Pero el espíritu olímpico se percibe en el ambiente y ya trascendieron algunos datos de lo que será el recorrido de la antorcha sudamericana y la ceremonia inaugural.
Como es tradición para esta competencia, el fuego se encenderá en Tiahuanacu, Bolivia, el 27 del mes actual. Los primeros Juegos se realizaron en ese país, en 1978, y esa ciudad milenaria representa la cultura de los pueblos primigenios de nuestro continente.
Al día siguiente llegará a nuestro país y, directamente desde el aeropuerto de Ezeiza, se trasladará a Miramar y Mar del Plata, dos de las subsedes de Buenos Aires 2006. La llegada a esta ciudad está prevista para el 5 de noviembre, jornada en la que habrá un recorrido por los principales sitios de interés turístico, histórico y deportivo.
Luego descansará hasta el 9, para entrar en el Parque Roca, sede de la ceremonia inaugural, y encender el pebetero, donde la llama arderá hasta el 19 de ese mes, en que concluyen los Juegos.
Se estima que unos 100 relevistas participarán del itinerario de la antorcha en nuestro país.
Sin embargo, la llegada de la antorcha será apenas el cierre de una ceremonia fantástica. Si bien se mantienen muchos datos bajo estricta reserva, como por ejemplo quién será el encargado de encender el pebetero, se sabe que la inauguración comenzará a las 20, en el estadio que se utiliza ahora para la Copa Davis, y que se prolongará por dos horas.
Será una presentación de música, fuego, color y emoción.
Para esa época ya estará instalado el sistema de iluminación, por lo que la ceremonia marcará también el estreno de espectáculos nocturnos en el flamante Parque Roca. Como el escenario ocupará una parte de las tribunas, la capacidad del estadio se reducirá a poco menos de 10.000 espectadores.
Son esos los primeros indicios de lo que será un elemento fundamental de toda la cita que intente recrear el espíritu olímpico: la llama y la ceremonia inaugural. Por eso, a un mes del comienzo, los VIII Juegos Deportivos Sudamericanos – Buenos Aires 2006 ya se sienten en el ambiente.

VIII SOUTH AMERICAN SPORT GAMES -
Buenos Aires 2006 To A MONTH Of the BEGINNING, ALREADY The ODESUR ARE LIVED Lack hardly a month so that VIII Juegos South American Deportivos (ODESUR) starts up. The 9 of November will be the beginning of the competitions, with the tests of equitación, hockey on turf, judo and handball. But the Olympic spirit perceives itself in the atmosphere and some data already extended of which it will be the route of the South American torch and the inaugural ceremony. As it is tradition for this competition, the fire will ignite in Tiahuanacu, Bolivia, the 27 of the present month. The first Games were made in that country, in 1978, and that millenarian city represents the culture of the primigenios towns of our continent. On the following day it will arrive at our country and, directly from the airport of Ezeiza, it will be transferred to Miramar and Sea of the Silver, two of the subseats of Buenos Aires 2006. The arrival to this city is predicted for the 5 of November, day in which will be a route by the main sites of tourist interest, historical and sport. Soon it will rest until the 9, to enter the Park Rock, seat of the inaugural ceremony, and to ignite the pebetero, where the flame will burn until the 19 with that month, in which they conclude the Games. Esteem that about 100 relevistas will participate in the itinerary of the torch in our country. Nevertheless, the arrival of the torch will be as soon as the closing of a fantastic ceremony. Although many data under strict reserve stay, as for example who will be the one in charge to ignite the pebetero, is known that the inauguration will begin to 20, in the stage that is now used for the Glass Davis, and who will extend by two hours. It will be a presentation of music, fire, color and emotion. For that time already the illumination system will be installed, reason why the ceremony will also mark to the opening of nocturnal spectacles in the flaming Park Rock. As the scene occupies a part of the tribunes, the capacity of the stage will be reduced to little less than 10,000 spectators. The first indications are those of which it will be a fundamental element of all the appointment that tries to recreate the Olympic spirit: the flame and the inaugural ceremony. For that reason, to a month of the beginning, VIII the South American Sport Games - Buenos Aires 2006 already feels in the atmosphere.
